Hanako-san


 "Hanako-san" is a popular Japanese urban legend about the ghost of a young girl who haunts school bathrooms. Legend has it that if you knock three times on the door of the third cubicle in the girls' restroom on the third floor of  the school, Hanako will appear. Some legends say that you have to ask Hanako-san a question or say her name three times, while others say that Hanako-san just appears.

 Hanako-san is usually depicted as a young girl with close-cropped hair, wearing a red or white dress. Depending on the version of the legend, her face is either normal or deformed. Some legends say that she may have been the victim of bullying or abuse, and that she appeared in the school bathroom to take revenge on those who abused her.

how to meet her?

people say that if you want to meet Hanako san you have to go to a japanese girls school and go to their 3rd floor's 3rd bathroom stall. Than ask  "Hanako san are you there?" if a girly voice says  "Yes, I am here." you've successfully met Hanako san.

 Story: 

According to  legend, Hanako-san is the ghost of a  girl who died when a bomb fell on her school's toilet during World War II. In some versions of the legend, she was killed by a janitor who locked herself in the toilet.

 The legend of Hanako-san has become a popular part of Japanese folklore and has been the subject of numerous horror films, manga, and anime. This is often used as a warning to  children not to go to the bathroom alone and to be respectful of the ghosts that lurk in the school building. To acknowledge this legend and allay student fears, some schools have  named their bathrooms after Hanako.
